Making Appointments

To make an appointment for a well-child checkup or follow-up visit, call the office at 358-4904. We recommend calling at least one month in advance for the best chance to schedule the appointment on your preferred day and time. Follow-up visits can also scheduled when checking out after an appointment. The end of August is our busiest time, so be sure to call well in advance if appointments are needed then.

Sick Visits

If your child is sick, you can see the doctor on a walk-in basis during the following hours:

Monday – Thursday: 8:45 – 11:00 am, 1:45 – 4:00 pm

Friday: 8:45 – 11:00 am, 1:45 – 3:30 pm

Saturday: 8:00 – 10:00 am

It’s not necessary to schedule an appointment for a sick visit, but please call ahead so we can advise you of the best arrival time.

Well-Child Checkups

We recommend well-child checkups at 2 weeks, 1 month (optional), 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, 15 months, 18 months, 2 years, 2 and 1/2 years, 3 years and annually until your child turns 18. If your child enrolls in college, we will provide healthcare until he or she turns 21.

Missed Appointments

You will receive a courtesy call from our office reminding you of your scheduled appointment on the business day before the appointment. We can often fill missed appointments with walk-in patients, so if you must miss an appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. If you have to cancel on the day of your appointment, please notify us as soon as possible.

Late Arrivals

Late arrivals can disrupt the day’s schedule, so we ask that new patients arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled appointment time to complete paperwork. All other patients should arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled appointment time. If you arrive more than 10 minutes after your scheduled time, you will be considered late and given a warning. After one warning, you will be asked to reschedule your appointment.
